The Indian Odyssey

My all-time favourite colour is undoubtedly purple. I can wear purple, sleep on purple, scribble on purple and even repeatedly sing Purple Haze. When you style the color purple in an Indian attire, it automatically amplifies the fabric and brings out the detailing no matter what you’re wearing.

I picked a beautiful Aubergine purple made from cotton and added some weaved gold thread work with a colorful zari border. This slim-fit dress can be worn for a nice lunch/dinner or a night out and looks best when coupled with some gold accessories.

I decided to wear this outfit and hit the much spoken about

House of Curry’ restaurant at JBR and couldn’t have asked for a better place to capture some images. The interiors of this place transport you straight into the palacial Moghul era with extra large Maharani chairs, beautiful paintings and an enormous tree smack in the middle of the restaurant! So needless to say, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to compliment my outfit!

The butter chicken and palak paneer totally distracted me though.

Let me know what you guys think!
